Christ Our Redeemer welcomes Pastor Gilbert Ruffin Jr. and Pastor James Turner Jr., appointed in July 2020. On May 6, 2022, Rev. Ruffin was reappointed as the sole pastor and we are honored to worship under his anointed leadership. We pray that the Holy Spirit continues to order his steps as he leads this Church and blessed the community.
Christ Our Redeemer has a 100% virtual worship experience and we invite you to join us every Sunday at 10am and 2pm EST and every Wednesday at 7pm EST via Facebook live stream. Please click here to view our worship services.
Community Outreach
Through God’s grace, Christ Our Redeemer has committed to purchasing 100 backpacks filled with supplies (like those pictured above) for James Madison Middle School. Please Give Online to help us bless our youth.
Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts
Christ Our Redeemer is partnering with Pilgrim A.M.E. Church to help bless our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We are requesting donations of food and personal care items that can be opened by hand. Examples include water, sanitizers, gloves, masks, liquid soap, wipes, and baby food. These items can be delivered to Pilgrim A.M.E. Church located at 612 17th Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20002. The point of contact is Rev. Ware (202-375-0379) and donations can be made Mondays-Thursdays from 12pm-5pm, Fridays from 3pm-7pm, and Saturdays from 1pm-4pm.
